A- I have this crazy high lexile that i want to choke and thank because it brings me books like this. This is not even my range and it bores me to death. I khow it is famous and based off a real terrorist, but god this this book slow. the good guy didn't come in till the last quarter of the book! I did love the writing style and overall plot of the book. I mean Who doesn't like a story about a terrorist trying to kill the French President with the police hot on his trail, even though he does not know it. However, There are some scenes that are questionable but that comes from it being an adult book. The few scenes that are not slow or questionable or so good and gripping, you want to keep reading. The Jackal is a blonde englishman with no soul and a huge brain so that makes an awesome main character. In conclusion, It is an excellent book but not for teenagers, only for INTELLEGENT adults. Rating: 4.5/5 book points.
